I call upon you
Unnameable Source of All That Is,
God of Many Names,
Divine Spark of Life Within.
I call upon you in times when humanity seems to be lost,
and our planet is hurting.
I call on your Grace in times when
greedy and delusional leaders of this world
keep failing humanity,
failing the animals of the earth,
the animals of the sky,
the beings of the sea.
I call on your Mercy
as Mother Earth calls upon us, humans
to heal what we are still capable of healing.
I call on your Compassion
as our Father Sky calls upon us
to breathe in deeply
and do what we can
so all living creatures
are able to breathe also.
Divine Parent…
Source of All That Is…
I keep calling upon You
and we continue to call upon one another
to do the healing and liberating work
we humans
are more than capable of doing…
we just need to remain
willing and steadfast.
I keep calling upon You
as we continue to embody
the values we proclaim,
and may we
continue to risk
our privileges…
continue to risk
our unexamined comforts…
continue to sacrifice,
as in making it sacred,
the letting go of some of our luxuries,
for the sake of the survival
of our siblings
of all shapes,
forms, and conditions.
We lift our siblings in Palestine,
in the Democratic Republic of the Congo,
in Sudan, Lebanon, Syria,
Cuba, Venezuela, Guatemala…
We lift the Immigrant Community in LA,
Texas, Florida, all around this Country
being hunted down,
scapegoated and terrorized by our own government…
being terrorized…
Our Trans community and families,
and our medical teams scrambling to provide care,
wellbeing, shelter, and assurance…
We‘ll continue to gather the prayers
that are just too painful to name,
as well as the joys, the blessings
the little miracles,
the big miracles,
and the things we are still trying to figure out…
May All Sentient Beings
Be happy.
May All Sentient Beings
be free from suffering
and the root of suffering.
May we be the answers to our prayers,
The prayers of others
With Divine assistance
of Community,
of Eternal love,
of Empathy and Compassion.
Salaam, Shalom,
Axé, Blessed be,
Amém!
